Introducing the Actuonix linear actuator for Lego. These actuators are compatible with Lego Mindstorms*, EV3* and NXT* kits. They are self contained units which include an electric motor. They will push up to 25N and move at 12mm/s unloaded. The maximum movement of this model is 100mm (~4 Inches).

These Lego linear actuators are an ideal solution for custom projects. our customers have used our Lego actuators to build cranes, bridge layers, forklifts and many other custom Lego projects.

This actuator can be used with your NXT* or EV3* Brick. You will need one of the standard motor connection cables that are included in the Mindstorms* kit. The L12-NXT software block can be downloaded from here - L12-NXT Block and the L12-EV3 block can be downloaded here - L12 EV3 Block.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to produce the Power Functions* adapter cable. In order to make these actuators work with Technic* and Power Functions* you will need to build an adapter cable. Instructions for building an adapter cable can be found here.
