Description

Industrial Super-Beacon with plastic 16mm ultrasonic transducers protected by IP67 membranes. The beacon passes the IP56 test that is similar to that one of Super-Beacon: Demo: IP56 testing of Super-Beacon-IPxx.

• Designed for outdoor and industrial applications
• Supports dual-use – the beacon can receive and transmit ultrasound
• It can transmit on its native ultrasonic frequency (19kHz or 25kHz or 31kHz or 37kHz or 45kHz) and it can receive on any ultrasonic frequency (19kHz and 25kHz and 31kHz and 37kHz and 45kHz) via an embedded RX sensor – like Super-Beacon or Industrial Super-Beacon or Industrial-RX or Mini-RX does. Effectively, the Industrial Super-Beacon combines inside an Industrial-TX and Industrial-RX. Thus, it is called Industrial Super-Beacon
• Additionally, the Industrial Super-Beacon-Plastic supports both IA and NIA architectures, because it has ultrasonic transducers on different ultrasonic frequency
• Very solid IP protection of up to IP56 level
• The difference between Industrial Super-Beacon-Metal and Industrial Super-Beacon-Plastic is that the Industrial Super-Beacon-Plastic supports all available TX frequencies, while the Industrial Super-Beacon-Metal supports only 25kHz. Thus, the Industrial Super-Beacon-Plastic supports both IA and NIA, while Industrial Super-Beacon-Metal is designed for NIA. At the same time, the Industrial Super-Beacon-Metal is even more robust and is even more protected than the Industrial Super-Beacon-Plastic, i.e. Industrial Super-Beacon-Metal is suitable for harsher environment than Industrial Super-Beacon-Plastic
• External bendable antenna with SMA connector for extended radio range
• Currently, supports license-free 915MHz ISM band (for example, US, Japan, Korea) and license-free SRD band 868MHz (EU, Russia). Future 433MHz HW variants may come in some months, but no firm schedule yet. You can place orders for 433MHz. When sufficient amount is collected, we will produce the 433MHz version as well
• Two IP67 external connectors:

     • +12V power supply (works from +6V till +15V) – the same as with Industrial-TX and Industrial-RX
     • Reset pin

• Corresponding IP67 connectors (male part) included
• No battery inside by default – external power bank or external power supply (+12V). Optional variant with internal battery is available on request
• Extended working temperature range: -40C…+50C (provided by design – not tested, not certified). Тo battery inside, because of extended negative temperature range
• Embedded reset switch and DFU switch – magnetic control 0r external pins on IP67
• Can work with Industrial beacons and Super-Beacons and Super-Beacons-Outdoor Mini-RX beacon and Beacon HW v4.9 in NIA and IA. In all cases, the radio bands must match
• Recommended ultrasonic range – up to 25m with Industrial-TX or Industrial-RX or Mini-RX or Super-Beacons
• Radio range to modem – up to a few hundred meters in open space with full-size antennas bendable antennas
• Optional external IP67 converter ~110/220V to +12V or optional IP67 battery
