TB6612FNG Introduction:
1.TB6612FNG is a DC motor drive component with high current MOSFET-H bridge structure, dual-channel output. It can drive two motors at the same time.
2. Specification
- The output of TB6612FNG every channel can be up to continuous current of 1A, the starting peak is 2A / 3A (continuous pulse / single pulse)
- Four kinds of motor control modes: Forward / Reverse / Brake / Stop
- Frequency supported by PWM can be up to 100 kHz
- With low-voltage detection circuit and thermal shutdown protection circuit;
- Operating temperature: -20 ~ 85 ?
3. Pin Main Function
- Control Signal Input Terminal: AINl / AIN2, BIN1 / BIN2, PWMA / PWMB
- 2-Way Motor Control Output: AO1 / A02, B01 / B02 is
- STBY : Normal Work/ Standby State Control Pin
- Motor Drive Voltage Input Port: VM(3~13.5 V)

4. Features
TB6612FNG is H-bridge IC based on MOSFET, with much higher efficiency than transistor H-bridge driver. Compared to L293D average 600mA drive current per channel and 1.2A peak pulse current, the output load capacity raise to double. Compared to L298N heat loss and peripheral freewheeling diode circuit, it does not require external heat sink, with the simple external circuit just an external power filter capacitor can drive the motor directly, it will be better for reducing the system size. For PWM signal, frequency up to 100 kHz also has a very big advantage.
Usage of TB6612:
TB6612 is a dual-drive which can drive two motors.
Connect STBY to IO port of the microcontroller all cleared motor stop, control Forward / Reverse by setting AIN1 AIN2, BIN1,BIN2.
VM Connects to power under 15V
VCC Connects to 5V power supply
Driver 1 channel:
PWMA connects to PWM port of microcontroller
